Account-based history, explained plainly
Haven securely saves your reflections and chat history to your signed-in account. Your history synchronizes across your signed-in devices, while a temporary browser cache helps keep the app reliable between syncs.
Your reflections are not public or visible to other Haven users. Account-based storage means you can return to your history from another signed-in device without treating one browser as the only copy.
How AI replies are generated
When you ask Haven for an AI reply, the current message and relevant conversation context are sent through Haven’s server to its AI service. That processing is necessary to generate a reply.
Privacy claims should describe the actual system and its limits. Haven uses account-based storage for reflection history and sends the context needed to generate AI replies; it does not claim that reflections remain only on one device.
Control should remain visible
You can delete individual chats or erase all saved conversations from your account in Settings, and you can control optional data-sharing settings. Changes to storage or synchronization should be explained clearly rather than buried in an update notice.
