Your clients keep reflecting between sessions. You stay in the loop.

Haven is a private AI reflection space your clients actually use — and the therapist dashboard turns it into structured homework, visibility into what they choose to share, and better session prep. You remain the clinician. Haven stays software.

What is the Haven therapist dashboard?

The Haven therapist dashboard is a tool for licensed therapists and counselors: your clients reflect privately in Haven — by text or voice — between sessions, and you assign the homework, see the reflections they choose to share, and keep your caseload, private notes, and calendar in one place. It is not therapy software that treats anyone; it is the software a real clinician uses.

The problem it solves is the six days between appointments. Most clients think about the work for one hour a week — in your office. Haven gives them a private place to keep thinking out loud, and gives you a way to shape that thinking without reading over their shoulder.

How does reflective homework work?

Instead of a worksheet, homework in Haven is a conversation. You assign a weekly exercise from the dashboard; it appears inside your client’s Haven app; they complete it by talking or typing it through with their guide — the same way they already use Haven. A reflection prompt a client can talk to gets finished; a PDF worksheet gets forgotten in a downloads folder.

Before the next session you can see the engagement and anything the client chose to share, so the first fifteen minutes of the hour stop being “so, how was your week?”

What can you see — and what stays private?

You see what your client explicitly shares with you, and their engagement with assigned homework. You do not see their private conversations — a client’s reflections belong to the client, always. That boundary is a feature, not a limitation: clients are honest in Haven precisely because it is private, and honest reflection is what makes the shared excerpts worth reading.

Your own session notes live in the dashboard too — private to you, encrypted at rest, alongside a caseload view and a calendar with optional session reminders.

Is this AI therapy?

No — and Haven is unusually strict about that line. The AI never claims to treat, diagnose, or improve any condition, to clients or to you. Every client message is crisis-screened before any reply, and a possible crisis always ends the conversation in favor of real help (988 in the US). The published self-harm safety protocol applies to every conversation, including homework. You are the clinical judgment in this arrangement; Haven is deliberately built to never pretend otherwise.

How is client data protected?

Plainly: sensitive content — conversations, your notes, shared excerpts — is encrypted at rest, and text is de-identified before it is sent to an AI provider to generate a reply (identifiers we can detect reliably are stripped — email addresses, phone numbers, card and Social Security numbers, web links, and street addresses). One deliberate exception: a short automated safety check reads each message as written, because redacting it could make us miss a real crisis. There are no ads, no ad trackers, and no selling of data, ever. And honestly: this is encryption at rest, not end-to-end encryption — Haven must decrypt data to operate the service, and we do not currently hold a BAA with any subprocessor. The full plain-language version is on the health privacy page. If you need the clinician-level detail for a practice security review, email support@havenmentor.com and we will send it.

What does it cost?

The therapist dashboard is $100/month, cancel anytime — the caseload, homework, notes, guidance, and calendar in one subscription. Your clients’ own Haven plans are separate and belong to them. We’re also giving early therapist partners extended free access — if you want to pilot Haven with a client or two, email us and we’ll set you up.

Frequently asked questions

Is Haven a therapy app?

No. Haven never provides therapy, diagnosis, or treatment — with or without a therapist attached. For clients it is a private space to reflect between sessions; for you it is a dashboard that turns that reflection into homework, visibility, and better session prep. You remain the clinician; Haven stays software.

What do my clients see?

Clients use the normal Haven app: private conversations with a supportive AI guide, by text or voice. When you assign homework, it appears inside their app as a weekly exercise. Nothing about their experience is clinical — no charts, no forms, no portal to log into.

Can I read my clients’ conversations?

No — and that is deliberate. A client’s reflections are private by default. You see only what a client explicitly chooses to share with you, plus their engagement with the homework you assigned. Private reflection is what makes clients honest; the sharing choice keeps it that way.

What happens if a client is in crisis?

The same thing that always happens in Haven: every message is screened before any reply, and a possible crisis stops everything else — the client is pointed to real help (988 in the US, 9-8-8 in Canada) immediately. That response is never delayed, blocked, or replaced by anything, including homework.
